내브디 navdy 자생 커뮤니티 소개

내브디가 망한다는 메일 이후 감감 무소식인지 몇달이 흘렀다. 
내브디 사이트(navdy.com)도 셧다운 됐다. 서버 운영 비용도 계속 나갈테니 당연한 수순이다. 

사용자들이 자생 커뮤니티를 만들었다. 최근 만들어 진건 아니고 내브니 공식 커뮤니티 사이트가 닫히면서 레딧에서 만든 내브디 페이지가 좀 더 활성화 됐다고 보면 되시겠다.  그 유명한 레딧에 자리를 틀었다.

내브디가 새로운 펀딩을 시작했다는 내용도 보이는데 사기 같다는 의견도 있다. 
누가 해킹좀 해서 apk 나 ios 앱좀 업그레이드 해서 만들어 줬음 좋겠다. 

키빅 관련 포스팅도 보인다. 반갑네. ㅎㅎ
The Kivic just dropped $40 on Amazon. Doesn't seem to have all the features of Navdy and relies on screen casting, but it's been around for several years in Korea.

I switched to this HUD when Navdy died. Overall I’m happy with it. Not as easy and nice as Navdy was, and I also miss having some sort of interface to control stuff without looking away. I do love that since it’s using airplay, that I can use Waze and watch other videos on the HUD lol

레딧에서 발견하는 유용한 팁은 아래에 계속 추가하겠다. 
네비게이션 활성화(한국에선 안됨)
If you know the exact address, you can add it if you disconnect the cellular data on you phone. That way you will force Navdy to use the offline map database on the Navdy device itself. I tried it. It works.On IOS you can just flick airplane mode on and it will stop cellular and wifi but leave Bluetooth on. Then type your address in to the Navdy app, it does it’s thing and then you can just flick the airplane mode off again. Easy as!

역시나 이런 내용도 올라왔다. 내브디를 해킹할 해커를 고용해서 그놈한테 펀딩을 하자는 의견도 있다. 정말 재밌다 ㅋㅋㅋ 아이폰 미러링 기능 얘기도 나오고..진짜 미러링만 되면 대박일텐데. 
Custom firmware? Can navdy be hacked to update maps, add new features etc (self.navdy)

If hackers could get in the navdy OS and change the api for:-
voice search Point of interest database Create an alternative control app The possibilities are endless.

And add community features and maps.

Great! Who do we hire to do this? I've got a couple of ideas: include Waze as well as Google maps, and make it possible for us to access apps like iHeart Radio, Pandora, Spotify and The Weather Channel via Navdy.

I would say it is the best idea to do kinda of kickstart fund page to hackers who can do the hack for the navdy and then we can fund them, I would say if they could do like an iphone mirroring feature it would be great
